I would really recommend this book to any beginner serious about Buddhism. I would at least prerequisite that you know the story of the Buddha, know what the Four Noble Truths are, and know what the Eight Fold Path is.

It has been like a Buddhism Bible of sorts, where I can always go back and remind myself how I can live the path that leads to, what I have dubbed, “a perfect sanity.” It’s clear, central to the path, to the point, and dodges the “muck” in religious Buddhism pointing directly to solutions.

Note: I am not 26% through, I read sections (mostly my highlights) over and over, as I said, reminders of how to live the path.
